Jennifer Piacente

Artistic and Tour Choir Director

Jenny Piacente, mezzo-soprano has been involved with AGC since 1998. She received her Bachelor of Music Theory and Masters in Vocal Performance from the University of Georgia. Jenny was a member of the Atlanta Symphony  Orchestra Chorus and the Robert Shaw Festival Singers. She has held choral director positions with Fulton and Cobb County schools, and is currently the vocal arts instructor and choral director at King's Ridge Christian School. She is also a regular guest conductor for the Cherokee Chorale. Jenny's contagious enthusiasm, high energy, animation, and creativity make her a sought-after clinician and conductor for honors choirs and music workshops around the state. Jenny's career goal is to impact young singers and instill in them a lifelong passion for choral singing. 

Claire Burns

Artistic and Training Choir Director

Claire Burns earned a Bachelor’s of Music in Music Education from the University of Georgia and Master’s of Music in Music Education from Auburn University. She has taught choral and general music for more than 15 years in both public and private schools in the Atlanta area. She is currently the chorus and general music teacher for the Lower School at King’s Ridge Christian School in Alpharetta. Claire served in various leadership roles in the Fine Arts and Choral departments in Cherokee County as well as recognized as Teacher of the Year at Clark Creek Elementary. She is a creative and enthusiastic educator and is honored, humbled, and excited to be a part of the Atlanta Girls’ Choir tradition!

Linda McKenzie

GAGC Accompanist

Linda Green McKenzie graduated cum laude from Jacksonville University with a Bachelor of Music Education degree. She has taught in public schools and served as Director of Music, Accompanist, Handbell Director, Children’s Choir Director/Coordinator, Praise Band Director and Worship Planner at churches in Florida and Georgia. Presently, she is on staff at Sixes United Methodist Church in Canton, Georgia. Linda also teaches private piano lessons and accompanies several high school choirs, district festivals, honor choruses, workshops and Little Theater musicals in North Georgia.
