Training Choir Director Claire Burns
Training Choir (3rd-8th grade)
The Training Choir consists mainly of girls in Middle School.
The Director focuses on refining and enhancing proper vocal techniques and expanding music theory knowledge, which includes mastering fundamental rhythms, sight-reading, and ear training skills. The Director also introduces the singers to more sophisticated musical compositions.
Furthermore, members of the choir are expected to display initiative and self-discipline. Upon demonstrating proficiency in these skills at an advanced level, choir members may be invited to join the Tour Choir.
